Musicians Needed!!

** We have an immediate need for:

Percussionists
Trombones
Clarinets

If you are an adult age 18 through 100 and have your own symphonic instrument, please join us for rehearsals and concerts. We are dedicated to playing symphonic band music in a relaxed atmosphere. Our members are not paid for their efforts. Instead we play for the sheer enjoyment of music!

Because the high schools and middle schools have very active music programs for their students, our organization is for adults over the age of 18; however, ** occasionally we have a few limited opportunities for high school students. Any high school student who wishes to play with us must have his/her band director's approval, as well as the approval of our conductor. If you need more information, want to audition for our conductor, or don't have a band director (for those of you who do not play in a high school band), please email us below.
 
 

Dues

We collect dues once per year. Dues are $15 per person, payable when you join the band. If you want to purchase a Band Polo-shirt, the cost is $16 per shirt (this is an optional item--you do not have to buy a shirt to be in the band!!!).
 

Instruments

You need your own instrument in good playing condition (we will provide percussion and tubas), a music stand, and once in awhile a folding chair (depending on where we play concerts or rehearse).  You should find all the information you need in these web pages, which we continually update.  If you need more details, please email us at info@pwcb.org.
