George Williams our Membership Chairman was born in Dallas TX, 63
years ago, Lion George moved to Virginia in 1970.George has been a Lion
in District 24-A, since 1976 and a Park West Lion since June of 1998. He
has held several District positions including Zone and Region Chair, "Lion
Reporter" editor, Fall Conference Chairman, and Habitat for Humanity Chairman.
He served as Secretary and Vice President of the Virginia Lions Hearing
Foundation in Charlottesville VA and is now on the Advisory Board. George
has been the Park West Lions Club Visitation, White Cane, and Membership
Chairman and was President 2002/2003. He has two sons, Todd,
41, a carpenter in King George County, and Byron, a 28 year old Marine
Sniper Instructor at Quantico. He has 8 grandchildren and one new
great grandson. George is employed by the US Navy in Washington, DC.
