Today (Thursday) is our first dry day. There have been daily showers and t-storms. Because of this nothing has been able
to dry out...I'm going to throw my towel in the trash Saturday before leaving camp.
Food has been pretty good as far as camp food goes. Our favorite time of the day is "Song Time". The entire camp sings a
song after each meal. The short neck buzzard is our favorite so far. Dinner time will never be the same again.
Most scouts and adults are participating in the Polar Bear swim. Participants have to jump into the pool at 7am on two of
the three mornings to earn the award. The heated pool water is 78F. It's not much of a polar bear award, but it does get
the boys clean at least three time this week. Actually the leaders should get an award for the 50F shower water.
The scouts have separate HOT showers.
All the scouts are doing well with his merit badges. Reed said the rifle written and oral test were hard. Mr. Sealock is
exercising his writing hand by signing off all the merit badge pre-requisites.
