Need caps or goggles? Paula Coe is the person to see for all of your Waves apparel needs. She can be found at the pool during the 3rd swim practice, or you can call her at 703-590-6899. She has caps and goggles on hand as well as Waves sweatshirts and T-shirts. She can also order the following items: personalized swim bags, short-sleeve golf shirts, and sleeveless golf shirts. Don’t forget — she will also be at the swim meets, so look for her if you need to buy an “emergency” swim cap or pair of goggles.

Team Swim Suit
- Our new team suit is called Sublime. We use a suit for two years and this is the first year for this suit. It is available from T's to Please & More at 14222 Smoketown Road. The shop is located in Prince William Square and the phone number is 703-491-1608. You can see photos of the men's and women's suits HERE!
Team Swim Cap
- You will be given one cap when you pay your registration fees. Caps will be available to purchase at swim meets from the clothing sales volunteer.
Goggles
- Swimmers may wear the goggles of their choice. There are many styles and price ranges available. Most of our swimmers like the Speedo Hydrospex goggles that our clothing sales volunteer has on hand at meets in a variety of colors. If your swimmer prefers another type, that is fine. The most important thing about goggles is that they fit well and are comfortable.
| Additional Items You Will Need |
|
Towels
- At least 2 or 3 beach size towels for each swimmer.
Sweats
- A sweat-suit or warm-up suit for chilly mornings will be much appreciated by your swimmer. This doesn't need to be fancy - just warm and functional.
T-Shirt
- Some kind of t-shirt to keep your swimmer from getting too much sun.
Tote Bag or Duffle
- Some kind of tote bag, duffle bag, or backpack for carrying your items to the meets.
Sunscreen
- An essential item for swim meets!
Water Bottle
- Swimmers need to stay well hydrated, so a water bottle is very helpful.
Permanent Sharpie Marker
- Your swimmer's name should be on ALL items that you bring to a meet. Use the permanent sharpie markie to label all items. The marker is also handy for writing a young swimmer's events on his or her hand so that no events are missed.
