Fundraising
The
Prince William
County Arts Council
provides funding to county
community organizations as judged by their benefit and involvement in
the
community and administrative competence. The
Council awards grant funds in various increments to
those
approved. The WYC General Manager is
responsible for submitting the application for this funding. The
WYC has often been the benefactor of such
assistance; however, such funding is not sufficient, nor is its intent
to
replace fundraising efforts. WYC
conducts a fundraiser each season and all members are expected to
participate. WYC accepts cash
donations, as a non-profit organization, as well as paid advertisements
for the
concert programs.
