In addition to the full text calendar we publish on this page, YOPW also publishes its events on a set of Google calendars. We have entered this season's information in several Google calendars - one for each large ensemble and one for events that are of interest to all of YOPW (concerts, meetings, recitals, auditions). You may view this information from links on this site (see below) or import as many calendars as you wish in your own Google account (see below). Events can be displayed in a variety of formats, and details such as location maps are also available.
If you import calendars, we recommend that you import the calendar for Concerts and Other Events, plus the calendar(s) for your children's ensembles. The advantage of Google is that we can change our schedule quickly if we need to, for instance, when we need to cancel a rehearsal due to inclement weather. If you import calendars into your own free Google calendar account, these will be updated automatically when we make changes. You can also set up automatic reminders of YOPW events, either by e-mail or SMS text messaging to a cell phone. The choice is yours. You may also import Google calendars into any calendar client that uses the iCal format (such as the Mac calendar).
At this point, displaying all YOPW events on a single Google calendar is cluttered and presents a number of formatting and readability issues, so we will continue to provide a master text calendar (below). The table below lists the Google calendars available and provides links to access them:
